Why You Want To Be A Council: Ella is extremely ambitious, extremely bossy, and extremely ruthless. She will do anything to get her way; and though it’s not usually something blatantly manipulative, her subtle methods work just as well – probably even better. She wants to get on the Council partly so she can boss people around and have the authority to do so… but mostly because it’s a job with a lot of power. Of course, she’s not sure yet what she’ll do with the power if she gets it, but Ella will think
Why You Should Be A Council: Ella is something of a genius. At the very least, she’s a huge prodigy. And while her bossiness and arrogance make her not very popular with the older generation of magic users, she has the full support of the younger generation of Surrahn, who were taught by her/went to parties hosted by her/totally admire her. You could say that she’s the voice of the island’s youth.

Why You Want To Be A Council: Cassandra has dreamed of being a Council since she was old enough to understand who they were and what they did. The Council holds the only people she would ever actually take orders from. She feels that in a position on the Council, she could help more of the younger generation than she can as just a Didacha.
Why You Should Be A Council: Cassandra is not only a talented musician, she is also situationally intelligent, meaning that she can figure out all possible implications of what someone is doing before making a decision, which would be a useful attribute with the Council as they decide whether someone can go back in time.
